I have earned a doctorate (D.Sc.) in Information Systems and Communications; my M.S. is in administration and my B.A. in economics.
I have over 20 years of experience in the private and nonprofit sectors.

I have 12 years of nonprofit governance experience as president, executive director, and various board appointments across membership, communications, and management. I earned Certificate of Director Education from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
I implemented business process redesigns in multiple nonprofit and private sector organizations, increasing productivity as well as employee and customer satisfaction.
I have 13 years of nonprofit leadership and executive experience, resulting in new programming, increased revenue and member engagement, and stronger communities.
I also have 7 years of experience in the private sector, including leading branch operations of a large temporary services organization as well as my own businesses.

I am a seasoned writer with 13 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and 7 in the private sector. I've written or edited the following:
