We hired Frank to paint the exterior of our brick home, add shutters and refinish the existing wood front door. Frank and his team were honest, hard working, very detailed and made our house the best looking on the street! I will definitely use him again for future projects.

We got several bids on refinishing our wood floors. We originally chose another company to the floors. Their price was much lower than or other bids. Our floor turned out awful, ruff and blotchy. So I call A1 to come out and see if they could be fixed. Jason said he could fix the damage done by the other guy at the price he originally quoted us. We decided to to give it one lsst shot. Wow! He did it in half the time it took the other contractor, and they are absoutly smooth with a beautiful even color. I guess when it comes to your floors you really get what you pay for and all flooring companies are not created equal.

David and his team did a great job refinishing our hardwood floors. Very professional and dependable--they explained each step in the process, were always on time, and cleaned the work area before departing each day. Refinishing hardwood can be a messy process, but they made an extra effort to contain the dust and debris to help minimize the impact in other areas of the house. I highly recommend them.

Tony G is the best I've ever used. We have been rehabbing and flipping homes for years and I hired Tony for a very challenging hardwood floor job, and I wasn't sure ANYONE could do these floors. Tony G and the BAMM crew did the impossible!! The walnut color hardwood is the signature of the house and definitely increased the value substantially. Look no further than BAMM for your flooring and tile work. Mark R. Bona Fide Homes - Pittsburgh PS - Listen to TONY G.... he knows!

We've used Scott from Premier Home Improvement for several remodeling jobs in our home. He did a great job with our kitchen makeover including a new laminate floor, ceramic tile backsplash, window framing and painting. He also put in new basement entry doors and new windows for us. We couldn't be more pleased. Scott is very meticulous and his prices are reasonable. We're happy to know a contractor we can trust and who does quality work.

Mike was hired to install Pergo Outlast flooring in my living room and dining room. This gentleman and his assistant arrived timely and were prepared to get busy. No time was wasted. Before they began Mike discussed in detail my expectations and appeared very conscientious and it was obvious he was eager to accommodate my needs. Mike had informed me prior to the installation date that the job would require possibly 6 hours. The job and clean up was actually completed in 5 1/2 hours. The clean up process was fantastic. Both men were very friendly as well as professional. They were highly skilled and the quality of work was simply sensational. I highly recommend Caporali Floors to anyone who is need of any type of wood flooring being installed. I'm confident you will be impressed with the outcome. The overall professionalism, the quality, and the value was simply UNTOUCHABLE. I look forward to using their services in the future. Thank you Caporali Floors for the beautiful craftmanship.

This may be one of the best home repairmen that I have ever dealt with. First off, I must start with we didn't go with Jarrod, he showed up to my house exactly when he was supposed to and gave me a reasonable quote. What I didn't expect was instead of being pushy to write him a check and get the contract signed, he did what I would never expect a home repair person to do, he actually encouraged me to do the job myself. This may sound crazy but being a first time home buyer I have never dug into anything myself, and reading horror stories online I thought that refinishing floors would be a nightmare. I have only owned the house for a little over a week but Jarrod explained the process out in depth on what needed to be done and how to avoid issues, and even said he would come back to give pointers if needed. Needless to say, my wife and I went to the nearest home improvement store and found out all the equipment we needed would cost less than half what most other floor people were quoting me and watching a couple videos online and following what Jarrod told me the job should be pretty simple. I really can't thank Jarrod enough, he's saving us literally thousands of dollars and making my wife and I feel that much better about our home being that we are doing it ourselves.

We had a wonderful experience all around. Rich was always very responsive to questions, punctual for estimate and for the job. He helped us to make the right decision with the stain color and he did an amazing job matching up the patches on our floors. We could not be happier with the results and hope that Rich will come back and help us when we are ready to do our upstairs floors as well. Thank you! We absolutely love our refinished floors!

All Pro did a really great job refinishing all of the hardwood floors, and were wonderful to work with. Matt was always very responsive. After the job was completed, we called Matt with some concerns about how the poly dried, and he came out that day to fix it. This made a world of a difference and we are very satisfied with the outcome of the floors and the service from the company. Thank you!

A few years ago, I bought an old 5 bedroom, 3 bath house that hadn't been maintained for 20 years. The master bathroom, a rare thing for a house built in the 1930's was beyond repair to say the least. With so much other work to do in the house, I decided to hire someone to tackle it and I'm so glad that I did. John did a wonderful job turning my nightmare bathroom into a truly spa like experience! The work included demo of the old bathroom, converting a closet to a tiled walk-in shower, installing a whirlpool bathtub with tile surround, a new toilet, a new sink with vanity and finally a beautiful tile floor. Thank you John! I think it goes without saying that I will be recommending you to all of my family and friends.

Let me make that great wood floor beautiful again. I will come to your home, seal off the area to be work in, remove the offending previous mess of a paint job/stain/vinyl floor/bad taste that the previous owner left on your hardwood floor, bag it up in hefty garbage bags, and remove it. That's step one. Then for step two, I will complete the removal of the said nastiness from your soon-to-be-lovely floors using the tools at my disposal. Note: I do not use bad chemicals on your floors or in your home. I never use them in mine; why would I use them in yours? If I use paint removal compounds, they are strictly "green" and government approved to be so. Next, my favorite part - sanding. This is where my sealing off the work area really pays off for your home. It is also where I don the ventilator mask and eye safety protection mask that my kids tell me makes me look like a bug. But sanding is the first real step, to me, to seeing the character and warmth in your floors that new floors and laminates just can't hope to duplicate. Ahh, I love my work. The wood gets four coats of sandings - coarse, medium, fine, and steel lamb's wool - before I even think about staining. After I stain, the floor gets another rubdown with steel lamb's wool, just to make it silky to the touch, and if it needs a touch-up with the stain, it gets one. Next stop, staining. Lots of people with pine floors don't want to stain, which leads the wood to get a nice, warm, reddish glow over the years. It does, however, make the floor harder to keep clean [natch] over the years. My floors are pine (my house is over a hundred years old), and my husband preferred an oak stain. I scratched my head, but I went for it. I have to admit that it looks great. So, score one for the husband. There's a lot of debate currently on whether or not to seal wood floors. I will do this if you want me to, but personally, I'm against it. Floors that are sealed up are, I've found to my sorrow, floors that dry up and can crack. You are much better off not sealing the floor, but brooming the dust off of it weekly, or swiffling it weekly. Once a year, rub it down with (brace yourselves) olive oil. Yep, good old-fashioned olive oil, with maybe some lemon oil mixed in for fragrance, will do your wood good. Forget the expensive, fancy-schmancy stuff you can buy online. Olive oil - that's the ticket. I go for the natural treatments of wood, and of other things, as much as possible, not only because it's the best for the living things in the household, but because it works best. I don't give price estimates online, because I like to see what I'm working with first. What I do is refinish a free twenty-by-twenty-inch area of your floor for free. Gratis. Nada. You pay nothing. Ever. I like to see what I'm buying, and I like to treat the customer like I'd want to be treated. That is my way to giving an estimate. If you like what I do, I'll finish the floor. If you don't, we part friends. I hope to hear from you soon. Let's get that floor of yours looking good and feeling great under your bare toes. Suze
