Lamonte and his partner Akia did a great job moving our 3 seat leather powered recliner. It was moved from the basement of one house to the second floor of another home about 4 miles away. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and took apart, lifted, and reassembled it with surprising ease. The overall price was fair when compared to any other rates that we were able to find. Unlike other companies they didn’t require a two-hour minimum or anything like that, which was a struggle for us to come across. Lamonte also responded quickly across the time of our communication, which was only days ahead of the move - so it was a quick turnaround time! There were no additional fees and the original quote was honored. The couch was not blanket-wrapped or perhaps packed as tightly as it may be if you used a major moving service, but I expected and was okay with that. You may want to keep this in mind or ask for more padding/wrapping if that is import for you. We thoroughly looked over the couch and both homes after delivery, and found no issues at all. It looks and works just as it had before. We’re very happy with the service and would definitely hire them again!

Was in a pinch due to an injury, and couldn’t unload UHAUL into storage units. Called several places no luck. I found LDF Moving and Hauling through Thumbtack. They were willing to squeeze us in late Saturday afternoon and at a fair price. This was a huge relief after driving 15 plus hours on Friday to get to Pittsburgh. Thanks to LDF for saving the day and fitting us into their schedule. We will be using LDF again in the near future and will recommend them to friends and family.
