Was able to solve my issue pretty quickly about my roof and suggest actual good repairs instead of replacing a bunch of stuff and charge it up to $2,000. He was able to come to my house on his own time and was done in like 3 to 4 hours tops and so far there has been no leaks

Eric assembled our 12’ x190 gazebo/pavilion from a Yardisty kit. He replied to my questions promptly, came quickly to review the build site, and was ready to start the project on time. He was polite and communicated well. Before he started the work we did a full inventory of parts and separated all the hardware into separate bins for his convenience. I also provided him a link online to the manufacturer’s instructions ahead of time for him to review all the steps necessary to build the structure. After coming onsite he quoted us an hourly rate and approximate 4 - 6 hours to complete the task - one trip to set the 4 concrete footers for the posts, and the second trip to assemble the pavilion. Many online reviews of the Yardisty kit indicated that this would be an 8 hour job, so I advised Eric that I was okay with going over the 4 - 6 hour estimate a bit. In the end, he did the job and we are pleased with the pavilion with the exception of the placement of the footers. I know he measured multiple times, but the footer placement mismatches the dimensions of the structure slightly. The structure is anchored into the cement in most places but there are a couple of missed anchor bolts. My husband will fix those with some help. The other issue is that he significantly underestimated the number of hours to assemble the structure. We came to an agreement on the price after he completed the work. Would I recommend Eric and use his services again? YES, but with one caveat: I would agree on a flat rate rather than hourly rate. That would prevent any surprises. We are happy with our pavilion and expect that it will last a long time.
