Introduction: My images show the true personality of the person or the feeling of the moment. Everyone gets nervous for photos and hope and pray they and or their family are having a good day. My images capture the moments in between that really tell the story as well as the posed portraits. But even with my posed portraits you will see smiles not only on faces but in the person's eyes as well. I am proud to have a specialty of capturing the true person very well. I am also proud to have been named Best of Thumbtack two years in a row and #3 Photographer in Philadelphia Area for Thumbtack as well as an Angie's List Super Service Award recipient and Best of Main Line. My favorite part of the job is watching people start to breathe and relax and actually enjoy being in front of the camera. I have the most fun with men or husbands who reluctantly show for a family shoot and end up being the last to leave as we chat about sports, etc. in the parking lot after the shoot. :) I love the challenge of children being children a.k.a. "buggers". I love being invited into special moments in peoples lives. I love the connection.

I recently did a boudoir shoot with Amy. I've never done anything remotely close but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Amy suggested that I do a little research to get some ideas and that really got me rolling. She graciously attempted everything I wanted and used some of my ideas as a springboard for original ones. We shared a lot of laughs during the shoot and after as well. Amy reviewed the photos with me, cropped, and or edited, added effects to, and had them copied on a disc to me in a timely manner - during the holiday season no less!! The photos are all gorgeous and I have only positive feelings toward the whole experience. I have recommended Amy to many friends. If you're on the fence, trust Amy to help you recognize your beauty, be comfortable with it, and then rock it!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a constant study in the methods of photography. I attend seminars, watch webinars, work with mentors and read read read.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father is a hobbyist photographer, my brother is a photographer and I have always loved the concept of photography. I am all about instant gratification :).
What types of customers have you worked with?
Families, High School Seniors, Boudoir, Large National Brands, Headshots, Pets, 50th Anniversaries, Maternity, Toddler, Modeling..... I love them all for various reasons.
