On going private one-on-one Yoga sessions - Joe was able to bring my high level of anxiety to a more "manageable/doable" level. Joe is an amazing teacher very professional, but above all VERY knowledgeable of this ancient practice called YOGA! I love Joe :)!!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I work privately with clients, I first get to know them and their concerns. Depending on the issue, an intake session will assess current physical and mental conditions, as well as allowing the me an opportunity to understand the clients’ lifestyle and health goals. From there, I'll work with the clients to teach them yoga practices that will help with goals and conditions, and if needed, outline a process of continued support.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

As a yoga therapist, I have worked with clients with a variety of concerns and goals. Examples include creating yoga posture sequences to help clients with sciatica pain or teaching breathing techniques to reduce a client's stress and anxiety level. I'm also trained in working with clients for weight loss through yoga. As a yoga teacher, I've helped new students with the basics of yoga practice. I've also helped more experienced yoga students deepen their practice by through vinyasa (flow yoga), pranayama, meditation and philosophy.
