I came across thumbtack 6 months before my wedding while looking for a makeup artist. I received many quotes.Melissa wasn't one of those quotes she must have not been on thumbtacks yet.I ended up picking a artist named Dani. She had me fill out forms on skin type and what I was looking for. I did all she asked. One mouth before my wedding i tried to touch base with Dani. I left voice messages, text messages and even tried to email. all with no response from her. I was very upset to be left hanging with no makeup artist one month before my wedding. Thought it was very unprofessional of her. I went back on thumbtack and did it all over again and receive 3 quotes. one of those quotes were from Melissa. I talked to Melissa and told her about what happen and how I only had a month before the wedding and she was very happy to help me out. she is very friendly and very professional.she showed up at my hotel room on time when she said she was going to be there and did an amazing job on my makeup I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out and how great it looked in my pictures and I am one who usually doesn't like pictures of myself lol. I highly recommend Melissa for any bride who wants to look beautiful on her day. And to anyone who gets quotes from Melissa and dani, remember you get what you pay for. with Melissa you won't get a flake who leave you hanging at the last minute before your wedding day. .
