Dr. Green tutored my son for the SATs and helped him to raise his scores dramatically when classes had failed. He has a wonderful way with teens and puts them at ease. He shows how to study for the SATs in an effective way. The scores matter.

Steven Greene tutors our son, who is a junior in high school. His teaching style, especially in chemistry and physics, helped our son grasp the information with ease. We also have Steven going over SAT strategies to prepare for the upcoming test. From a parent's point of view, Steven is very professional, can relate to our son, always available by phone or email, if needed, and after each session, updates us with what material he went over and the progress our son is making.

Steve utilized his follow up skills to make sure our appointment was confirmed. He is courteous and understanding to your needs. He informed me prior to the meeting the questions he has prepared to ask and also informed me of the time frame needed to complete the audio interview. Dr. Greene has tutored both my son and daughter for various levels of math. He was able to adjust his methods and teaching styles to best suit their individual needs and was successful in helping them improve their grades. Steve has a wonderful ability to hone in on what the student's academic and emotional needs are; while helping to maximize their potential. He is incredibly patient and focused while working one on one and helping the student understand and learn the material. Steve is incredibly accepting of the craziness of teenagers schedules and working around their schedules to fit in tutoring time . Our family is fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Steve.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Both my parents were educators so it was decided very early on. I went to college to be a teacher where I earned my teaching certificate. The private education and tutoring was the logical extension of classroom teaching.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common calls are Math, Science and Test Prep for SAT and ACT. We cover all of these areas with expertise using an individualized 1/1 approach based on the needs of the student and goals.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Using the internet I did a prep class for 6 American High School students living in Paris who are planning to attend US based universities.
