FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you reach out to Joyland for windows or doors, you’re not just getting a contractor — you’re getting a team that genuinely cares about your home. It starts with our amazing receptionist. She’s friendly, quick to respond, and makes sure you feel taken care of from the first call or email. She’ll answer any questions you have and schedule a free consultation that works with your schedule. Then, one of our Window and Door Consultants — not a pushy salesperson, but a real expert — will show up right on time. They'll walk through your home with you, take a close look at your current windows or doors, and most importantly, listen. What’s bothering you? What are you hoping to improve? We take all of that in and then give you honest, straightforward advice on the best next steps. If you decide to move forward, we get your project on the calendar, keep you in the loop every step of the way, and make sure everything is ordered and ready to go. Before installation day, we’ll make sure you know exactly what to expect. When that day arrives, your project foreman will introduce themselves and the crew, walk you through what’s happening, and make sure everything goes smoothly from start to finish. After the work is done, we do a final walkthrough using our quality checklist to make sure everything looks and functions just right — no shortcuts, no surprises. It’s your home. We’re just here to make it better, and we’ll treat it like it’s our own.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We’ve helped busy moms trying to keep the house comfortable, farmers looking to keep the cold out of the kitchen, CEOs upgrading their forever home, and nurses finally tackling that drafty bedroom window. Whether you’re managing a facility or just trying to keep up with your to-do list at home, we’re here to make your window and door project easy — and done right.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our teams recently repaired balancers in hundreds of windows at a York County Apartment building. It took less than a week to complete, even though we had a week to do the work. The property manager told us that he will be using our company for more work in the future
