I love creating! I’m the person you come to with wild ideas and visions that people have told you may not be possible. I’ve been creative my whole life- most of which with limited access to tools- I which makes me very resourceful and resilient. From simple and clean to absolutely unhinged, I’m your girl. I started So Very Extra to be a safe space for everyone and to make everyone who sits in my chair or sends me a message feels cared for. I love being able to express my creativity and resourcefulness in my work everyday whether it’s beauty or graphic design related. I’m passionate about helping people look and feel like their best self with everything from brows and body waxing to lash extensions and henna. It’s also important to me to leave room for people to be people, so I’ve made reasonable policies and hold myself to those same policies- all of which can be found on my website. I’m a licensed cosmetologist-and certified wax and lash tech- with 7 years experience in the field- 5 years professional waxing experience and 2 years professional lash extension experience. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m newer to henna and graphic design than everything else, so pricing there will be a little lower than most for a bit while I perfect the logistics, but my work is solid.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cosmetology school completed, licensed for almost 7 years. Wax specialist for 5 years with consistent and present work in the field. Certified lash artist with 3 years experience. Henna artistry is my newest official endeavor, but I’ve been doing henna on and off for about 4 years. Graphic designer for 3 years creating my own business materials.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Graphic Design: I started creating my own business materials in 2021, and have really gotten creative with the kinds of materials I dream up. I’m new to offering this service to other people, but I’m eager to dive into the graphic design world and bring your ideas to life.
