Introduction: I teach children and adults with reading, writing, and spelling difficulties. I have my Masters in the Psychology of Reading and have provided reading therapy for over thirty years. Mark Miller was an invaluable support to my son over many years. Mark was able to help my son overcome significant reading challenges with encouragement, patience and individualized instruction that addressed his specific needs. He provided our son not only with help with reading, but also supported him in other areas of concern such as spelling, writing and critical thinking. Mark found materials that were ideal for an older struggling reader which highlights his student-specific attention and care. He gave our son years of kind, caring tutoring that was a major help in moving him along in not only reading, but in his view of himself as a capable, competent learner. Mr. Miller has been working with my daughter with her reading disability for over a year now and she just had her best report card ever. He often discussed with me and my daughter what she is doing in school to make sure they are on the same page. She enjoys going to tutoring, as much as a 12 year old can!. He's friendly, easy to talk to, easy to schedule sessions with. I am so glad we made the decision to use him as her tutor and will continue to use him as long as she needs additional help.

Mark was a godsend for my family. My son was diagnosed with dyslexia and was below reading level. I was suddenly thrust into a situation of quick research on dyslexia and what help was available. Needless to say I was stressed. Tutors were very expensive and hard to find in my area. Then I found Mark who had all the right training for my child's issues, was reasonably priced, and additionally had a fun personality. He kept my son on task but made time for fun puzzles and games. My son is in fourth grade this year and was independently tested..he is at grade level. He can read to learn now and does so every day. Thanks, Mark.

Mark is an amazing person, kind, generous, with great sense of humor. At the same time he is very professional, knowledgeable, great teacher! He finds that special connection with every student.
