I consider my work to be documentary-style. The majority of your images are captured in-the moment. My job is to click photos while your moments tell a story all of their own.
Having been blessed with a simple life I was exposed to nature and hard work on a daily basis. Because of this I truly feel that there is so much beauty that exists all around us ...sometimes we just have to take the time and enjoy where we are ... you know ... literally stop and smell the flowers. Being able to see and appreciate the little things is both a gift and talent - that requires work and practice. In 2004 I worked as an apprentice with a professional photographer and also earned a degree in graphic design during 2005-2008. I am constantly taking photographs and playing with the creative possibilities in Photoshop. Clients are provided with a combination of candid natural shots and traditional-style posed images.

Maureen did such a beautiful job on our reception party pictures! The price was incredibly fair for what we received and I would recommend her to anyone needing a professional photographer. It’s unfortunate she lives in Pennsylvania because we would have gladly used her for our official wedding we had in Virginia. We did have a few hiccups in communication, but nothing worth going into detail about since it was rectified quickly. Quality of work was beautiful, we loved the end result!

My husband and I have had Maureen do two sessions so far for our babies Easter pics. First was when my son and daughter were 3 months and 2 years and then this year 1 year and 3 years of age. She has the ultimate gift of patience and is just so personable and comfortable to work with. We have met her husband as well and he is equally as sweet and easy to work with and together to see their love of children is so refreshing. Some moms like myself put so much pressure on ourselves for our little ones to look perfect, get the perfect pose, have the perfect background, etc... yet she has a way of relaxing us parents in teaching and assuring that sometimes the best pics at these ages are caught naturally, organically in an unforced manner (boy was she right)! She understands that little ones at that age don’t follow any direction yet doesn’t rush anything. Her price is beyond reasonable and she makes sure each customer has a unique session by meeting pretty much wherever they desire. Truth be told we were on our way to meet her for pics and it was about a 25 min drive for each of us and on the way there our son got sick all over the car. Not only was she more than understanding, she offered to come meet us to help clean up....just shows the type of awesome human being she is. So, needless to say she will be seeing our babies and family grow up for years to come😃

Maureen did a great job with our wedding photos! The pictures came out beautifully and she was very careful to include all of the special individuals. She was "along for the ride" for any ideas that we wanted to incorporate including our dogs!

Maureen did our Engagement Pictures and they turned out FANTASTIC!!! We had hundreds of photos to chose from for our Save-the-Dates and the location she picked was PERFECT for what we were looking for!

Maureen was wonderful to work with. She did everything we asked of her for our wedding. I would recommend her to anyone for photo's!! She does post some photo's within days to Facebook so you can get a preview while she is editing the remaining photo's.

Yes! I have earned a Master's of Arts Degree in Communication and Media Studies, occasionally teach as an adjunct instructor in Sociology courses, and love to learn so I am constantly reading, experimenting and researching.
