Thanks Sal, It was a pleasure meeting you
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I can do an hourly rate or a flat rate. It is up to the customer. It depends on the nature of the job. If there is ambiguity about how many items need to be moved I like to set an hourly rate. If there is an exact amount of items and it is inventoried properly I have no problem setting a fixed/flat rate that works for the customer. This is a customer service industry and it is ultimately up to the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? If a customer requests an estimate I can provide them with a quote in a variety of ways. I can do an on-site estimate and go to their residence and give them a quote on site (Usually bigger jobs). I can do a phone, video or picture estimate. It is up to the customer and their needs, preference and discretion. On the day of the move we give them a courtesy call to introduce ourselves and let them know we are on our way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? After graduating from Penn State, I took a job at the largest residential moving company in the country. I started out as a Mover/Driver and worked my way up to Operations Manager before starting my own business. My business sense, customers service skills and management abilities have enabled me to start my own small business.
