FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The advice I have for a customer looking to hire a provider like me is use resources available to you. Ask a neighbor, family member, co worker if they have had this work done by a professional before. When you find a contractor online usually they have reviews that customers have written about them. Unfortunately, there are bad seeds in every profession. They will try telling you that you may need more work done than you actually do. If you are not happy with what a contractor is telling you, get a second opinion. Always go with your gut feeling!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that customers were more understanding when it comes to repairing their garage door. Sometimes, it does cost a couple hundred dollars to repair. Like anything else in time, it will break. Your garage door is your biggest and heaviest door in your home. In most households the garage door is used as the primary entrance into the house, more than your front door. The hardware that comes with a new garage door typically lasts 7 to 12 years before it breaks.
