FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are $75 - $125 per hour, depending on how many people are involved in a session. I am willing to come to your location for a modest additional fee which is dependent on the distance and time of day. Please contact me about your circumstances for a fee and expenses quote. There is some flexibility in the rate structure.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I inquire if the clients have any questions of or about me. Then, I encourage the client to share the 'hurt' or 'stuck spot' is and what they've done to work this through to resolution, by themselves or with outside help. Then I ask questions of the client so that I can state back to them in a clear concise manner the essence of the issues at hand. A situation well defined by the parties involved leads to a more rapid and satisfactory outcome.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in family and marital therapy and one in social work. I have studied body-mind integration modalities and holistic therapies to increase total person wellness. I am continuing my professional education in sexuality through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. I attend continuing education classes in psychology, social work and therapeutic modalities on a yearly basis. Incorporating a person's faith background (if they choose) into the work is a supportive component to well being.
