Bill was a pleasure to work with during the entire process. He provided us with daily updates on how the work was progressing and he really did a great job with our new concrete area around our pool.. We have more work for him!

This is the first time I used Thumbtack and I was a little worried because I have never needed cement work done so I knew I would not be familiar with any contractors who responded. Unfortunately I received a letter from my township that my sidewalk needed to be fixed. I just knew this was going to be a hassle until this was all over.
Wow was I wrong!
I thought old fashion customer service was a thing of the past. Then William Snyder of Snyder Concrete came along. I have dealt with a lot of other contractors over the years but I can honestly say none were like William. In our initial call, he took the time to listen to what I wanted/needed and he took it from there. William called the township on my behalf to understand exactly what was needed to bring me in compliance. In talking to him I learned that cement trucks only deliver a minimum amount which was more than I needed. So William suggested an excellent way to use up the extra that I had already paid for (see pictures). I have never liked my skinny walk going to my front porch. With his suggestion we widened the walk at the porch to make the entrance much more inviting. I actually feel that I got something extra when all I set out for was to clear the code violation. What a WIN!
His timeliness and the outcome of the work was “Outstanding.” His level of communication was “Exceptional.” I knew exactly what was going on at every moment. He even took the time to text me pictures at different phases of the job because I could not get off of work. I never had to say one word to our code enforcement officer because he took care of scheduling all required inspections and status updates.
I know it sounds crazy that I am so excited over a concrete walk, but really it was way more just a slab. The entire experience makes me believe that there really are contactors that pride themselves in producing high quality results for a fair price and realize excellent customer service is still important.
I guess by now you figured out that I HIGHLY recommend William Snyder/Snyder Concrete for any job you are considering. At a minimum please give him an opportunity to bid your job, I did, and I am very thankful I did.

I was looking for a contractor to make a patio out back of my home. By using thumbtack Snyder Concrete and Polebarns responded immediately. Mr. Snyder came on a Sunday to view the project. They began work on a Tuesday and the project was finished on Thursday. They kept up informed every step of the way. It didn't matter if it was 8 at night or 6 in the morning Mr. Snyder made himself available for questions. As for the patio.......it's the most beautiful piece of concrete I've ever seen. It is above the expectations wr had for the patio and we owe that to Snyder concrete and Polebarns. I would definitely recommend their services as quality and reliable. We will use them again for future projects. OH YEAH......best part......they do more than just concrete and polebarns. Give them a call and I bet they can help you with your next project.

Bill Snyder identified the source of water leak above my front door that no previous contractor I talked to was able to help me with. Inspired by his highly responsible attitude, expertise and professional experience I hired him to installconcrete sidewalk leading to my house. The results exceeded my expectations. Bill came out the same day I posted my job here on Thumbtack. I have a concrete pit for my well in my driveway that was cracking and about to cave in. He left his estimate and worked with us to find a solution to fix the caving wall quickly and cost effectively. I was hesitant to let him (or anyone) work at our house while we were on vacation, but he stayed in contact with us via text message. He took photos and videos of the process as he worked, and kept us up to speed on his progress. It looks much better than it did before, and seems much stronger. Thanks Bill!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father being in a a major supervisor for the biggest concrete company in pa. I was made to work at the age of 12 . On side jobs. That would be 1972. At age 18 worked for The company my father was head supervisor of. That lasted 4 years till my dad put me in my own business. Given a thousand dollar loan I paid back in the first month. I have expanded my company to hotel building. Rubber roofing . Siding . Windows. And completely restored property maintenance. I grew up with a good work ethic. As you will see in my profile. I get it done and move on. Read my profile. As of now I hold top contractor. Don’t like it. Don’t pay for it. But never has been the case
