Although sports nutrition is my specialty, I am well-versed in most dietary needs, including restrictions due to allergies or disease. I have been cooking for 25 years. I went to Tracy with specific questions regarding nutrition for vegetarian athletes, and she managed to change the way my entire family eats! She worked with the quirks of each person, and individualized her suggestions to fit our specific needs. She took the seemingly daunting task of changing habits, and made it a fun journey. In addition to the concerns that originally brought me to Tracy, I was having a difficult time finding ways help my kids gain (yes gain) weight. I was starting to think it was impossible to do in a healthy way, but she had amazing suggestions for that as well. I found that I can get my kids to eat pretty much anything - if I tell them "Chef Tracy wants you to try it" - that secret weapon in keeping my kids healthy is priceless.

Tracy approached me after over hearing a conversation I was having with a mutual friend about my chronic and constant and permanent IBS problems I forever live with after my vigorous radiation treatments I underwent due to my collateral cancer. It was short and sweet and she instantly offered to help me find a diet and/or just foods that would help me get through the day without feeling like a prisoner in my house. The thing is/was I am a very picky eater, and have been that way my whole entire life. I have a child like mentality when it comes to my meals and very hard to change. But due to Tracy's passion and willingness to want to help me eat better and get my freedom back, she never gave up on me in finding what was going to be healthier for me, and most importantly what I would actually eat and accept day to day. Tracy knew I would not force something I would not like, so her hands were definitely full with me as her project. 3 years later, Tracy is still on top of me, always making sure I am eating more healthy every week, knowing they will be the occasional junk food moments, but still always letting me know of knew things she has thought of and just wants to try. Thanks to Tracy's passion and determination I have had a better daily diet from that day on. There is no "not giving up" in her daily routine with a difficult and stubborn eater such as myself. I was able to keep my energy levels up constantly during my bout with cancer and surgeries and treatments thanks to that "not giving up" attitude. Tracy also has helped my wife step by step with each and every meal in planning, buying, etc. Last factor, which is very important, Tracy also understood from day one that my family and I are on a monthly budget when it comes to money. She always went out of the way to find the best prices where we could find the necessary things for my daily meals where we didn't have to break the bank to eat healthy day to day. While my family and I are not full fledge health nuts, we are definitely eating more healthy now due to the simple daily changes Tracy has brought into our kitchen.

Tracy is very knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition, cooking, and food in general. She has helped me numerous times when it comes to incorporating healthier foods into my diet, including which foods would be best and even how to cook them properly. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and makes sure she explains things thoroughly so you have a full understanding of nutrition in general.

Completely changed my diet and preconceptions I had about eating healthy. Her recipes are absolutely delicious while avoiding a lot of the pitfalls of mainstream foods that have serious drawbacks to individual health. Fundamentally she teaches eating healthy can increase your appreciation of food. Additionally I have seem firsthand her usage of foods to alleviate medical symptoms and in some cases cure them entirely.
