We had Sidney paint walls and install window trim and crown molding throughout 80% of our 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath house. Overall, the workmanship quality was excellent and I feel that the job was completed in a timely manner. I feel like the price for the job was very reasonable. Sidney is very easy to work with and did not give us daily hassles, unlike most contractors we have dealt with. He acknowledged and corrected mistakes quickly. I would give 4.5/5 stars if the option were available. The only reason the review is not 5/5, was that there were a few instances wherein it seemed like if I had not alerted Sidney to a workmanship defect, it would not have gotten fixed. In other words, he may have just tried to cover up the defect (crack in molding, trim not flush with windowsill etc.) with caulk or touch up paint. These defects were few and far between, though, and I would highly recommend Sidney for interior painting and decorative carpentry.

Sidney gave me a great price..we set up a day and time. He was punctual and got right to the job. He never stopped until the painting was done, cleaned up, and put everything back into place The lines at the ceiling are straighter than any painter I've ever seen. Excellent job and excellent to to work with.

Mr Cruz gave us a great price for painting 6 rooms. He finished a day early. He did some extra work that was not in the estimate. He made the walls look new and the way he painted them, some of the comments that I've been getting from family and friends is that our walls look new and creamy and everyone is very impressed with his work. I've been a homeowner for 15 years and have never had a contractor treat me and my family this well. I wish more contractors were like him. THANK YOU MR. CRUZ!!!!!!

I like Architectural Digest as looking for what is out there, I also receive a few companies like Sherwin-Williams that keep me inform of such as colors of the year and best products,,I like to go out a lots in Galleries to get some Ideas and mix with mine and sale to my clients when is commercial.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I came from Brazil in 1987, I met a guy witch became my best friend and introduced me to his company in NY, Maer & Murphy Inc,. I learned most of the trade , Faux Finishes and all, those guys were amazing, after that I knew that was what I wanted to do..
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common is regular paint, but I like all Faux finishes, love venetian plaster, gold & silver leaf, plaster work and wall paper,
