- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always taught that one should always have a back-up skill and learn a trade. I already had a degree in interior design but I loved to create with my hands. I really wanted to try designing flowers for a while and knew it was something I could take with me anywhere I lived if I had to move. It was just a matter of signing up for a basic class and getting a job in a shop. I'm so happy I did!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be open minded to all of the possibilities. Sometimes someone has a particular idea or vision of how they want things done, but there are endless ideas and trends out there that offer the "WOW" factor. I am always researching the market and learning new things to create. I am a firm believer in thinking outside the box when it comes to creating because with flowers you can't go wrong.
