Mr. Piver holds a law degree from Villanova University and a master's degree from Cornell University. Mr. Piver is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, The United States Court of Appeals for the Third and Fourth Circuit Federal Courts, The American Bar Association and The Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Mr. Piver and his team of immigration legal professionals have extensive experience obtaining labor certification approval from the U.S. Department of Labor and approval of permanent residency (green card) petitions filed with the U.S. citizenship and immigration service. He obtains temporary work visas (H-1B Visa) for professionals, visas for athletes and entertainers (P-1 and O-1 visas) and training visas (H-3 visa) and assists corporations with intercompany transfers of executives, managers and other essential personnel (L-1 visas).
He has assisted numerous students (F-1 visa), researchers and foreign medical graduates (J-1 visa) obtain visas, 212(e) waivers, and employment authorization, change status and transition into employment status. Mr. Piver appeals visa denials at the U.S. consular posts around the world, and he regularly obtains visas for these clients, despite prior visa denials.
He assists nonprofit organizations resolve visa problems for religious workers (R-1 visa). He assists many individuals and firms in the sciences, businesses, computer-related fields, entertainment and extreme sports (P-1 visa), academics, and other disciplines obtain work authorization and U.S. permanent residency. He has worked with scientists, artists, athletes, scholars and other individuals of extraordinary ability obtain permanent residency in the U.S., without a job offer, in order to pursue their unique talents.
