Remember in the movie Friday Night Lights during the state champions, it’s 4th and 7 with 11 seconds on the clock and they don’t have anymore running backs, so everyone assumes the Permian Panthers are going to have to pass. So Coach Gary Gaines decides to run the ball! But without any healthy running backs he looks to Donald Billingsley who at this point has a dislocated shoulder and asks “are you should you can do it?” And without hesitation Billingsley said “yes sir”. And they get the first down on a run play on 4th and 7. INSANE. Well, that’s what it’s like to work with Phil. The man will get you the first down.
