FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm actively involved in the Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the Piano Technicians guild and attend regional and national conventions whenever possible to sharpen and refine my skills.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of inquiries are from people looking to get their piano tuned. Often times there is a mechanical issue such as a sticking key which inspires them to finally make that appointment. We provide full-service piano care with a goal of maximizing your enjoyment of your piano!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking to purchase a used piano, investing in a purchase consultation from a qualified professional technician will likely be the best money you ever spend. If it reveals trouble that may not be apparent to the naked or untrained eye, it can save you thousands of dollars and great disappointment. Also, if you have a piano that you care about and preserve, strongly consider investing in a Dampp-Chaser Humidity Control System. They make a huge difference in the health and well-being of your piano in addition to its tuning stability and you'll be much happier with your piano!
