Vince Barrilli was hired to remodel our bathroom. While installing the vanity top, they scratched and damaged the top. He did not take responsibility for the damage, claiming the top came in that way from the manufacturer. A representative from the manufacturer came out to inspect the damage. He stated the top would never be sent out in that condition and the damage was done by the installers. He recommended a refinisher that could repair the damage. The refinisher was contacted, the cost would be $200.00 to repair the damage. Mr. Barrilli was made aware of the cost and the date the refinisher would be out. During a phone conversation, Mr. Barrilli stated to me that he would reimburse me the $200. A check was never received. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Within 2 days, an e-mail from Vince Barrilli stated I would receive a check within 30 days. He never sent the check, nor has he responded to the 3 letters from the Better Business Bureau. Vince Barrilli is not man of his word!

I cannot thank Thumbtack enough for connecting us with Vince and his partner Matt to rebuild our Mom's beach house after hurricane Sandy in NJ. The project is about midway through and each step has been a pleasure. They are smart, hard working, and great communicators. We interviewed about 5 contractors and they were the top pick.
