FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a complicated pricing system. Most Yoga lessons last about an hour. My rate is $80 an hour for a private lesson. The initial lesson is an hour and a half, so the price is $120. If a client is interested in taking lessons for a period of time, then I offer a discounted rate to purchase a block of lessons. For group lessons (up to 3 people) the lesson would be $15 a person or $45. For all other services, such as school workshops, the price is determined based on the program developed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I chat with a customer over the phone and we discuss what the customer is looking for in a Yoga teacher and what they are hoping to achieve with a Yoga practice. I share my experience, philosophy and way of working and we determine if it is a good match.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to maintain my certification, I am required to take continuing education. However, I would anyway. In addition to workshops, I am also reading constantly about different teaching methods and the work of other instructors.
