Dwight did a 10' by 28' mural to be placed on the front of our township building. We requested a long list of inclusions and Dwight had no problem incorporating our requests. The mural is extremely well executed and we are very happy with it. Dwight is very professional. His paperwork is complete and he not only finished the mural before the requested date, he kept us informed regularly by email. He was quick to respond to our messages and his pricing is very competitive. We found him through thumbtack on line, and he turned out to be the perfect blend of artist and professional businessman. I have a small bathroom that I want to look like an underwater scene. Dwight was professional from the beginning to the end. He took my ideas and suggestions and made them into an outstanding work of art. Every step of the process, from creating the drafts of artwork to the final product, Dwight exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond to ensure I was more than happy with each phase of the project. I am truly ecstatic with my bathroom; the colors, the details to each creature and scenery - it's all amazing. He packs a lot of detail into each square foot! I highly recommend him, and am looking for ideas to bring him back to paint another room in my house! I was very happy with Dwight's work in my house! He was patient with my wishes and very flexible and pereceptive to my reactions as he did the work. The work involved painting the overhead beam and supports that separate the living room and dining room to look like wood. He did an excellent job! It was exactly what I wanted - and more. We specialize in hand painted murals on walls, backdrops, canvas, sets, theater, scrims, museum, zoo, and aquarium environments. We also create murals for corporate special events, trade shows, commercial and residential applications as well as public art commissions. We create fine art in any style, size, or location.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Understand that having a mural created is a fun project but also requires a lot of work from the provider. Cost are based on square footage and can range from$15.00 to $150.00 per sq. ft. Price is based on the level of detail required and subject matter. Size is also a factor. There are a couple of ways to produce a mural. 1. Create on location or 2. Create the mural on canvas and install like wall paper. Canvas murals can be shipped anywhere in the world. They can also be created on many different surfaces which should be discussed during the bidding process.
