Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I strive to use only the best materials available and I have attended professional training to learn new skills. I attend conventions, live trainings and on-line classes to ensure that I provide outstanding service to my customers. I love taking each face and creating a unique work of art. Even though different people may pick the same design, it looks a little different on each person. I also love seeing the looks on the faces of my customers when they get that first peek into the mirror!

I did not hire her, but she painted my kids' faces at a grand opening event. Very talented! Everything she did looked amazing. And she was friendly to chat with and personable with the kids, making them feel comfortable. Very positive experience!

We had Pam do face painting at a Community day event. She was outstanding. Great with the kids, the painting she did was the best, and she kept thing moving so the kids were not waiting long. We will absolutely use her again.

Pam was so friendly and great with all the kids! I could not get over how good she was!! I would hire her again in a second. After the party, I had everyone asking me for her number! Thank you Pam!!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken classes from many of the top painters in the country. I have studied with Nick Wolfe, Heather Banks, Gary Cole, Daniel Lasris, and Mark Reid. I attend conventions and also subscribe to monthly on-line classes.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

While there is not a "most common" job, some of the clients I have had in the past include face painting for birthday and holiday parties, festivals, coprorate events, company picnics cheer and dance teams and fundraisers. I love doing individual Halloween make-up too. I also have just started a new branch of my business....Prenatal Belly Painting! This will include painting of the customer and a free photo shoot. It will be a great way to remember that special time! I am in the practice phase of this and will add it to my board later this year.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First and foremost, make sure that the artist uses quality paints and supplies. Never hire a painter that uses acrylic or craft paints. These are NOT approved for use on skin. Professional face paint is actually not paint at all, but highly pigmented make-up sepcifically made for use on skin. Ask about thier training and where they have painted before. Make sure that they are willing to create custom designs based on the theme of your event. Check their website and make sure that the designs shown on the website are actually painted by the artist. Some artist will take photos off the internet and pass them off as thier own work, when it is not an actual representation of the work YOU will recieve.
