FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing on a time-and-material job is $40 per hour plus the cost of any and all materials necessary to complete the task. As far as standard pricing in home repair is normally that there is no standard as much of job costs are variables depending on the homeowners tastes and what specific details are requested for each custom job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As with all my customers I treat them with the respect, honesty, and courtesy that I would expect as a homeowner myself. If necessary I take the time to educate the new customer with the process we will be following to complete the specific task at hand.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As far as education , I was schooled at Mt Carmel Area high school and graduated on the National Athletic Honor Society and spent just 1 semester at Bloomsburg university and was unfortunately an unsupervised youth who decided he was readybfor the workforce and didn't need a college education. As far as training, I have been working on home repair and renovation for over 2 decades and have learned/been taught everything there is that I need to know for my line of work...all the upkeep I need to do is to keep current on codes and municipalities different stances on them.
