FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Setting time for a 15-minute phone conversation allows us to get to know one another and ensure we understand your goals and if I am the right fit for you. I am always willing to lovingly refer you to another fabulous local teacher if I feel your goals maybe better suited by another professional. Once we speak, we will set up your introductory session. Afterwards we will have a brief check-in about your experience and schedule follow up sessions as desired.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve studied in over 600+ hours of yoga and meditation teacher training covering a variety of styles and specialities including Yoga Nidra meditation, gentle yoga, yin yoga, vinyasa flow yoga, restorative yoga, yoga for Breast Cancer survivors (Christina Phipps Foundation), yoga for arthritis and pain management. Nearly 1000 teaching hours. Yoga Alliance RYT-500 certification. Weaving the power of the mind-body connection and living a heart-based life and creating lifestyle balance and a unique gentler approach to yoga. Perfect for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Yoga is a lifestyle practice, and i truly believe there is a a yoga teacher and style that you will connect with. But you don’t always find it on the first try. There are a lot of different styles of yoga and then many different approaches to those styles with each teacher, so I encourage folks to try a few classes and teachers to find which one speaks to your soul.
