Amanda was recommended to my company, Gray Willow Vintage, for a photo shoot we were coordinating. The styled, 1940's themed wedding shoot was a collaboration of both Pittsburgh, and International vendors. Amanda was so professional both in her work, and her communications. She showed up on location, worked from scratch, outdoors, and on a tightly moving time schedule. I can't recommend her enough! Her work on both the bride and the groom really fit the era, while remaining modern. Such a sweet girl to work with! We will be using her for styled shoots in the future.

I am so disappointed to have to be writing this review. I booked Amanda's services in January for my May wedding. In January, we decided my makeup trial would be the day of my bridal shower. As the date got closer, she communicated well with me through texting, she even asked if she could push our appt back an hour and I agreed. Then, at 11:50am the day of my shower, 10 minutes before she was supposed to arrive for my makeup trial, she called and CANCELLED. She informed me that she was at a photo shoot, and couldnt leave because it had run late. I was shocked. I asked her why she didnt tell me this sooner, I didnt have any makeup with me to do my own, and she only said, "I know, Im sorry". This is an appointment we booked 4 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. I am so let down by the unprofessionalism she has shown. I had to be late for my own bridal shower because I had to go to my house and do my own makeup. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone. Extremely unreliable.

I am a business owner from Texas and I had a commercial shoot in Pittsburgh, I was looking for a professional hair and makeup artist in that area. The commercial that I was shooting will be seen in 44 million homes so choosing a hair and makeup artist was not an easy choice, I talked to several makeup artist, but I felt comfortable with Amanda and Jada, so I hired them. The day of my shoot April 22nd, they came early, well prepared, very professional, knowledgeable and cheerful. The makeup was awesome and my hair looked better than ever, I was extremely happy with their work. They stayed with me all the way through, even at studio while I was shooting my commercial they stayed and fixed my hair and makeup when they were told to by the director. These ladies have an awesome energy and it's contagious, I got through the commercial in a short period of time. My second commercial is a few months away and I will hire Amanda and Jada for sure. I will recommend them to everyone! Outstanding ladies! Outstanding job!
