FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have two rates for my services, a Consulting rate and a Bookkeeping rate. The Consulting rate is generally used for project work of a limited nature (such as training, networking, customizations, third-party software solutions and Quickbooks file setup and population). The Bookkeeping rate is used for recurring, monthly write-up work for my regular ongoing clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2006 -Bachelor of Science, Accounting (1990) -Master of Business Administration (1995) -Passed the CPA exam -I have over 20 years of work experience in the Accounting field (through Controller)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common type of client is the one who comes to me with a box of supporting documents for an entire year that needs to be organized and quantified. Generally, after presenting their CPA with timely, clear financials come tax time, the client sees the efficiencies and value in hiring a bookkeeper to do their books so they can concentrate on running their business. I have also performed these types of jobs: -Networking multiple users on QuickBooks -Training -Inventory setups -Using third-party software solutions to automate data entry, combine company files and add global changes to company data. -Invoicing services -Administrative duties, such as database/website maintainance, membership tracking, and recommending organizational improvements
