My wife and I purchased a used leather sofa that turned out to be more than we bargained for (broken center support, too large to fit through doors, needed to be restuffed, etc.). Frankly, it was a bit of an impulse purchase that turned out to be a mess. As a "Hail Mary" we asked Chuck to take a look at pictures to see if he could help. He immediately recognized the make/model of the sofa, and not only did he disassemble and reassemble it so that it fit through the door, he completely refurbed it (replaced the stuffing, fixed the center support, and refreshed the leather finish)! Worked like MAGIC! We love his work and will call him again.

It's rare to find service / repair technicians with a commitment to delivering high-quality work at a fair price. I reached out to Chuck asking him to replace / install a complete spring set unit in my Felxsteel sofa, it had several broken springs. I sent Chuck a few pictures, and in short order, Chuck circled back around to discuss the repair itself and provide a price for the in-home service. Chuck showed up and surveyed the situation. It was clear after about 1.5 hours the repair would be far more complex and involved than originally thought. Chuck decided at that point to remove the sofa and facilitate the actual repair at his shop. The sofa required complete disassembly, removal of the old spring platform, and installation of the new spring set. Chuck basically rebuilt the sofa, repaired areas of the leather surface, and even had to color / dye the leather in a few areas. His repair needless to say was far and above what we originally discussed in terms of time and labor. That said at no point did Chuck ask for an additional penny over and above what he originally quoted for the repair, even though it took several additional hours of his time and the transport of the sofa too and from his shop. The final repaired sofa looked and performed as though it were factory fresh, incredible job. I could not recommend Chuck more highly, great work ethic, great craftsmanship, and incredible integrity. Chuck is the best!
