Introduction: It all started with a beach wedding and a highlight film. That was my first wedding I filmed while I attended Penn State in 2002. I started officially filming weddings in 2014 and haven't stopped since! My focus is to create a wedding film that showcases both of you on your most epic day you will have thus far! What I want to leave you guys a film that captures all the fun, positivity, and emotion that you will remember for the rest of your lives! I love meeting and working with my new couples. What makes me unique in my films by editing style in my films and the music. You get my signature edit Highlight film that is great for social media, but you also receive a feature film as well, depending on the video package! My experience goes beyond just weddings, I had the opportunity to film for Penn State's THON, Penn State Athletics Program, and I was a Blue Band Videographer for 2 seasons. After I graduated, I worked for Penn State Sports Marketing as a sports photographer and videographer for GOPSUSports.com. I had the privilege to create promotional videos for GOPSUSports.com, GoPSF.com, Bryce Jordan Center, and Beaver Stadium's scoreboards. This experience covering events has prepared me for what I do now, running my video production business. I'm an independent artist! I film, edit and create my each wedding project that I film. Rob worked with our budget and gave us the best deal out of many videographers in the area. He was on time and got a lot of great footage. The highlight and DVDs we received were beautiful and I am so glad we decided to hire him! Thanks rob!!

I found Rob McConahy on Thumbtack. I wanted a wedding videographer so badly, but I wasn't sure if it was going to fit in my budget. Thankfully, Rob reached out to me and he happened to fit into a price range I could afford (or he just doesn't know that he's worth way more!). Rob was always fantastic with communication. Considering the fact that he had a full time job other than videography while I was working with him made his communication extremely impressive and commendable. Rob was detail oriented and made sure to get any requests or ideas necessary before the big day. During the wedding and reception, Rob and his assistant were a pleasure for everyone to work with. They were inconspicuous and yet were able to get amazing shots of the day/evening. The video itself (a highlight video of the ceremony and reception along with lots of raw footage) was of great quality and such a joy to share with my husband and family. Rob edited unnecessary (or unflattering) moments, and highlighted the really special ones. Rob was extremely personable and flexible while working with me and I am so thankful that I was able to afford his amazing services. Rob was a true gift to my husband and I, and we will always treasure the video he created for us. Thank you, Rob!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Went to Penn State and took several courses on Video/ Film production. Lots of Experience! Penn State Football Media Assistant, Blue Band Videographer, THON, Sports Photographer!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I attended Penn State University, I was the Blue Band Videographer. I helped filmed and create Highlight films for 2 seasons. After completing Penn State, I was employed by the Athletics department. I was a sports videographer and photographer. I have been filming Weddings since 2012!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My recent projects are Wedding Film cinematography! I love capturing their special day!
