Introduction: As far as teaching languages, I have lived in other countries for over 16 years. As far as writing and composition, I teach these at the college level, have read thousands of books, and have written many different types of documents and literature. For me, life is all about dialogue--understanding what others have to say, analyzing my own impressions, and then building better knowledge of the world around us. I love to teach, to meet new people, and to make the world a better place. Teaching is a great way to do just that.

Cynthia's teaching style is clever and different from how I learned Spanish years ago. I asked for conversational Spanish lessons and before I knew it she was teaching me how to say phrases that were relevant to MY life (my line of work, my hobbies, my animals etc.) it wasn't just basic regurgitation of standard phrases, it was a personal one-on-one lesson that would eventually allow me to talk about myself and my situations as opposed to the generic sayings I learned in high school (such as "I like ice cream" and "where is the library"). I'm thrilled with her approach and her knowledge of linguistics, she's very knowledgeable and personable! Incredibly happy with my sessions so far!

I am getting a PhD in Philosophy. I teach at colleges. I am always learning, researching, writing, and translating.

As I mentioned before: I love languages and I love literature.

I teach clients. I teach them how to speak Spanish or Italian. I teach them how to write well-constructed papers. I help them learn a subject.
