Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I aim to be sure that my students understand the concept we are working on before they leave my studio. Unlike a lot of teachers, I make sure my students know the benefits of our work in class and how to practice these same concepts on their own. I love sharing the stories of how I learned what I have learned. It's thrilling to see students become inspired by what I have done as a performer.

He is an expert when it comes to music theory but he can explain the concepts in a way that the beginner can understand. It is rare that I find a teacher who is this knowledgeable and able to teach at any level.

My fisrt lesson started with relaxing music and stretching, along with breathing exercises. Then we did couple of exercises to know my voice rane. The breathing techniques helps a lot! I am a trasformstional breather and it happens to help with controlling the breath while singing. Justin introduced me to so many techniques from knowing my voice range to training my voice. He also introduced me to Vaccai method, which I found very useful, that has pieces for Sopranos. Don't hesitate taking classes with Justin! I am so grateful to have had him as a voice instructor.

Justin simply knows music, and to work with somebody you can trust and that you know is a professional makes all the difference

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I read about technical and physiological concepts in the field of vocal performance as well as take private voice instruction myself. One never stops learning!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Performing/Teaching isn't as easy as opening your mouth and strumming a few chords you learned on YouTube. Anyone can sing and play pretty notes. It takes a lot of very hard work and conditioning to become an informed performer.
