- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates start at $25 depending on the channel through which consulting is provided. Clients pay for contact, prep and travel time. I offer email, phone, virtual and in person one-on-one and group consulting. Clients pay a deposit/retainer in advance of work. If more time is needed to complete a project, client will pay an additional fee to cover expenses. At the moment, we are offering a discount to businesses affected by COVID-19 and underrepresented founders. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My engagement with clients starts with them filling out an application for services to get a better understanding of their business and their needs. The next step is booking a complimentary 15-minute discovery call where we go over the application for services and I explain how I can be of service. Clients then sign service agreements, make a deposit and I get to work on their project with checkins at each milestone. Most projects have a turn around time of 2-4 weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working with diverse small business owners for the last ten years. I hold a BS in Communication from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida and a MSc in Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL) in London, United Kingdom. My work in marketing, consulting, community relations and economic development has allowed me to travel the world and work and collaborate with businesses, non-profits and organizations big and small, including but not limited to CNN en Español, Univision, Ford, KIND Snacks and ASBDC.
