- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would normally charge $25-45 for one daily visit depending on the work required and the distance. I will generally give a discount for 7 or more continuous days. Any additional visits or medication are $5 daily. If the client calls me, I am more than willing to discuss a fair rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to talk to the customer on the phone to discuss specifics. I like to do a meet and greet session with the customer and client(s) to make sure everyone is comfortable. If they think they want to hire me, I would normally collect at least half of the agreed upon amount and house keys at that time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associate degree as a veterinary technician. I received my license, but it is not currently active as I am no longer in the field. I worked for a humane society for five years as an educator, teaching about animals and their care. I also worked with a variety of animals at the Elmwood Park Zoo, the Philadelphia Zoo and the Academy of Natural Sciences.
