FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have experience with hospitality accounts, retail, salons/spas, professional services (legal, IT), healthcare, entertainment and nonprofit accounts.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
At CrowdConnect, we're always fond of "cause" projects, such as those that aid nonprofit organizations. We recently completed a fundraising package (including design and copywriting of fundraising letter and all accompanying materials); as well as printing, mailing and list acquisition, for HiTOPS, New Jersey's only health center for youth.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First, make sure the principal of the advertising firm, or a member of the senior staff, is available to you should you need expert counsel or run into an issue. This is often not the case at larger agencies if you're a small or medium-sized business. Next, ask to see some work samples. Don't get hung up on needing to see work completed in your industry or something that looks like the piece you want; good designers are versatile and can work across mediums. What you're looking for is clean, easy-to-read design; a lack of clutter and, most of all, a compelling message. Finally, make sure the advertising firm you select has the capability to handle your needs not only now, but also in the future. You'll want to work with a company who can design your website *and* your print ads, this way they have the same look and feel. Can the firm you're looking at take the project from start to finish: design, copywriting, printing, mailing? Make life easier on yourself and hire a firm who can handle every facet of advertising, marketing and PR for you - this way you're not wasting time coordinating three or four different people or companies to do one job.
