Caricaturist Howard Bender will draw cute funny pictures of your guests doing their most favorite things such as hobbies, sports, the work place or favorite super-hero!! Mr. Bender a professional who has done 1,000’s of parties and ten’s of 1,000’s of caricatures will give your party that special treat for the reasonable rate of $135.00 an hour (with a 2 hour minimum): 18 – 20 faces per hour or 10 to 13 full figures black and white drawings an hour on 9” by 12” or 11” X 14” Bristol drawing paper all suitable for framing for any wall in the home! If requested full color is available for the same reasonable rate. All drawings can be preprinted and personalized with your event theme name and date at no extra cost! Plus, for easy take home protection each drawing comes in a clear plastic sleeve with a backing board.
If interested here are some other extra services I can provide to help with your event: If requested I can draw a colorful caricature of the honored guest for a fun and unique save the date, guestbook or sign-in-board. ($100 extra)
All you need to hold the date is a down payment of $50.00. Down payment must include your full name and contact information along with date and times needed with venue name and address and name of your event for my drawing paper.

We hired Howard to come and do caricatures at our company Christmas party. His communication leading up to the party was very helpful. He arrived early to set up and he kept our guests entertained and laughing while drawing them. The caricatures were very well done and were loved by all of our guests. He did not turn away any of our guests and even stayed beyond his scheduled time to ensure everyone had a turn. He was definitely a great addition to our party!!!

Happy client! Howard followed through to a T on my request for some manga-style cartoons of my granddaughter's school mates to be used for an invite to a party. He produced the eight pieces of art in a timely fashion at a reasonable price.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing for caricature parties and events is by the hour with a two hour minimum of $130 per hour. If youre looking for a commission or studio portrait caricature from your photos that can start as low as $50.00 or go as high as $130.00. Thank you so much for you interest in my work and services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hi, I will come in and draw funny pictures of your guests doing their most favorite things such as hobbies, sports, the work place, favorite super-hero or just looking cute!! All I need is three or four chairs and a well lit place to work. If your room is dark please let me know and I will bring my own lights to work by. Thank you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ive been a professional caricature artist for over 3 decades and have studied art at many of the countrys top art schools from Pittsburgh to New York City and continue to stay current with seminars and online classes. Before working as a caricaturist I worked in publishing drawing illustrations for newspapers, magazines and comic books where I drew Superman, Spider-Man and Richie Rich for Marvel, DC, Harvey and Archie comics.
