Jon and Stratton have not only been amazing instructors in several styles of dance, they have been incredible people to include in our weekly lives. I never could have imagined that I would rapidly approaching two years of dance when I started but here we are. Jon and Stratton have made dancing fun and easy to learn. As someone new to ballroom they have this amazing way of getting you to quickly understand advanced concepts. I could not recommend them highly enough, to learn a new dance solo or helping with a first wedding dance.

Stratton and Jon were amazing from the very beginning! They’re great at communicating, teaching, and listening to our struggles. They took on the challenge of teaching my fiancé and I how to dance for our wedding in just 4 lessons and they were so patient with us the entire time. Not once did they get frustrated with us or give up on us. They genuinely care about their students and are so kind the entire time. They even take time out of their personal life to FaceTime us and check on our dancing as well as record videos and send them to us when we’re struggling so we can see how it’s done. They have just been absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone who would like to learn how to ballroom dance. They are just the sweetest. Thank you guys for all of your help and support!

My now wife and I took lessons with Stratton (with some help from Jon as well) for our first dance of our wedding, and in just a few short weeks and four lessons (with some at-home practice in between), we were able to execute a fully choreographed “foxy basic” ballroom dance with turns, spins, and a dip at the end. We came into it with absolutely no idea what we were doing and four left feet, and Stratton was able to guide us through all the key details of nailing a perfect dance so we arrived at our wedding day with full confidence we’d pull it off. On top of the dance, Jon was able to edit our song (“All of Me” by John Legend) down to a reasonable length so we could practice with a specific cut of it. I highly recommend Nova Ballroom for anyone who wants to learn to dance. I can’t say enough about how great it was to work with them; we may go back for more lessons just for fun.
