Repair of badly installed flashings occurred as expected. Next winter will prove the quality of the work.
Leo was awesome. Ordered a bed which came un-assembled. And when I say un-assembled, I mean the bed arrived in a box with a bunch of wood and hardware - it was like someone took a puzzle, dumped it in a box and mailed it to me. When I opened it I freaked! There was no way I was going to even try to tackle this. I kept putting it off and putting it off because I didn't want to deal with putting that thing together. Needless to say I am not mechanically inclined, nor do I claim or care to be. I advertised the project online and Leo responded with the fairest price for the job AND was the most professional person to respond. After the project was finished, in record time and completely perfect I might add, we asked him if he would be interested in completing other projects in our home - we have so many things that need fixed, repaired, installed etc. Bathroom, bedroom, kitchen - you name it. My father is in poor health lately and, although very mechanically inclined, is unable to fix, repair and install things like he used to. Therefore, a lot of things are in disrepair and there exists a lot of uncompleted projects. We decided that we could really use a guy like Leo. We asked him about painting a few rooms. He gave us a fair estimate and we know, if he continues to work for us, will produce nothing but the best! He actually just called to make sure that we receive his estimate. I spoke with him and, again, he is very professional, and he made sure he followed-up with a formal estimate for the painting job we had asked about in a timely fashion. I am glad he called, because, although I kept thinking, "I need to leave Leo a review," I kept being interrupted by other things. So, to sum it up, if you need a professional handyman/jack-of-all-trades, able to fix, install, repair, etc. (and don't be afraid to ask him if he is willing or able to do a certain project - he is forthright and capable, with big jobs or small), don't just consider Leo, HIRE him already, for goodness sake! PS: My father is about the pickiest person ever created and EVEN HE WAS SATISFIED with Leo and his work...how about that?
I had to remove an existing ceiling fan and install a new one. What should have been a simple operation turned out to be really complicated because the box and wiring in my ceiling were much older and different from normal ones. Jason encountered several issues along the way but I was very appreciative of him spending extra time to figure out how best to fix the light. He also voluntarily helped me plaster up the ceiling which was very nice! Jason's very knowledgeable and very nice.
Jesse and his team were truly awesome. They installed a great fence for our little pup and the price was completely reasonable and lower than expected. To top it off, he sent us a quote while we were on vacation and even though we told him the fence was no rush (many other places were booked months out in advance for installment), he installed and finished our fence before we got home (within 10 days of sending us our quote). Additionally, we had an old shed in our yard we did not want anymore, his guys removed the shed for us AND the cement pad beneath it to properly install the fence. In short, he and his team went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
I had some odd projects....a very long cornice to hide 4 4' fluorescent light fixtures and a custom shelf. I found a shelf that was perfect for my bathroom, but the artisan would only make it in pine. Tom created it in walnut so it would match other walnut accents in the master bath. He did a beautiful job and hung it as well. The cornice was, to put it mildly, a nightmare. I didn't have plans in mind. Tom made some excellent recommendations as his design mimicked the top of our china cabinet. Once the cornice was in place, I realized that the open bottom allowed the light fixtures to dominate the woodwork. So Tom came up with a plan to install some metal sheeting I'd found. It was a tedious job, but Tom is a perfectionist. I appreciated Tom's attention to detail. I already have other projects in mind for him.
Ed did a great job of installing an external water faucet in our backyard. He was on time, very thorough and clean. All communications with him were clear and to the point.
Hired William to install a stair rail and posts. We had a tiny miscommunication as I requested him close to New Years but once we got that worked out, he scheduled us very quickly and arrived on time. He and his helper were very detailed and clean with the work. They measured twice and cut once, and gave us installation options! I'd definitely recommend them and the price was reasonable for the level of work done.
Jim was a consummate professional and worked with us to ensure that all jobs were done to our liking. We had grout that needed to be sealed, which Jim did so you couldn't even tell there'd been a crack. He removed our awning, which was heavy and a laborious job. He also hung several heavy mirrors for us, as well as installed shelving. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a job well done and will continue to use his services in future.
Raydell installed a large window AC unit for me. I wasn't sure it would fit and, it was very heavy but, he had it installed in no time. I would highly recommend Raydell!
John installed 2 closets for me the very next day after contact. He was professional, competent, PATIENT, and extremely friendly. The price was reasonable and now I have more closet space that I so desperately needed. I would HIGHLY recommend him to family and friends.
Mark did an awesome job for me, so good in fact that I've hired him to do a few more! He was on time, worked very quickly and did a great job. Mark replaced broken water pipes, installed toilets, removed a wall, sanded hardwood floors and so much more. He is honest and trustworthy and charges a fair price for his work. He also cleans up when he's done working. You will not regret hiring Mark, he is very good at what he does. AND... he's a veteran! I would be happy to give him a great reference... after he does a few more things for me, that is.
Charles of C.K. Remodeling & Design installed a fence in our back yard. He was everything we expected of a good contractor; professional & customer-oriented, punctual, knowldgeable & skilled, and competitively priced. We're thankful our neighbor recommended him to us and we gladly recommend him to you. Thanks again Charles for a job well done!
5+Stars-This is the only contractor you ever need to hire....custom built wooden gate, bulkhead installation, masonry work, drywall...professional and competitive prices. I highly recommend this contractor!
They installed insulation in my ceiling and repaired some drywall and paint damage in my bathrooms. They did a good job at a good price and everything went smoothly
Greg installed our new hardwood floors and installed new trim. He was neat, the floor looks incredible. I will definitely use him in the future.
Excellent. Very helpful, experienced and friendly
My husband and I needed someone to drywall our kitchen ceiling (seems like an easy task but the ceiling wasn't level and plaster was missing). They came out the same week our request went in on Thumbtack for an estimate. Ended up being the best decision we made thus far in home renovation. They worked with our busy schedule, coming in the evenings some nights to finish up little things here and there. We are choosing to do the priming/painting ourselves. When we're done, they're even coming back to put up our light fixtures (We even have a new one that needs to be installed.). We were so happy with the work they did, we asked for 2 more quotes on projects around our house. We will being using them again and would DEFINITELY recommend their services.
