• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  At Black Gorilla Surfaces, we believe in transparent and competitive pricing. Every project is unique, so we provide free estimates based on the size of the area, floor condition, materials, and scope of work. Our estimates clearly outline the services included, with no hidden fees. We offer fair pricing while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and using quality materials. We also work with customers to explore options that fit their budget without compromising the quality of the finished product.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  Our process starts with understanding your project, your goals, and the look you want to achieve. We schedule a free estimate to evaluate the existing floors, take measurements, discuss material and finish options, and answer any questions. Once the estimate is approved, we coordinate the schedule and prepare the work area. Throughout the project, we focus on proper preparation, attention to detail, and clear communication. After completing the work, we walk through the finished project with the customer to make sure everything meets their expectations.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I have over 11 years of hands-on experience in the flooring industry, including four years working on high-end residential projects in Manhattan, New York City. That experience gave me extensive practical training in hardwood floor sanding, refinishing, installation, custom staining, surface preparation, and professional finishing techniques. Working in high-end residential environments taught me the importance of precision, proper preparation, and attention to detail. I continue to build on that experience by staying current with flooring products, equipment, and installation techniques.
