After receiving an email last night from my new employer that I needed to send a headshot by the end of the week, I completely went into panic mode. I started messaging photographers on Thumbtack with no expectation that what I needed could actually be done.
Carrie got back to me immediately (seriously, it was within 5 minutes) and said she could fit me in today.
I was dreading the photo session because while I am not anti-photo, I feel awkward when taking posed pictures. Carrie made me extremely comfortable/relaxed and captured stunning photos. I was in and out in a short amount of time, but I didn't feel rushed - in fact, Carrie offered me the chance to try more poses to make sure I was happy with the final product.
All in all, I went from my initial panicked request to receiving the edited headshot in less than 5 hours. Beyond the quick turnaround, I LOVE the photo and will be spending this evening plastering it on all of my professional accounts.
I can't recommend Carrie enough!

I contacted Carrie to get professional headshots, and within minutes she replied to the request to set up a phone call to further discuss the project. She was friendly, clear about how everything worked, and we set up a session. She was available even earlier than planned the day of the shoot, was extremely friendly and comfortable to work with, and we were done quickly. The photos were available just a day after the shoot for download and use, and they turned out wonderfully. Highly recommended, and I will definitely work with Carrie again the next time I need any photography.

He took both corporate and casual portrait pictures for me that came out well. He was very, very friendly and patient, and I felt very comfortable with him as my photographer.
