Introduction: At Studio 42 Design I have the ability to take on any project regardless of size and budget. My services can supply as little as a residential color consultation to full commercial designs. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your design needs. My services include but are not limited to: * Create spaces that are safe, functional, and beautiful for my residential and commercial clients including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, office and small commercial spaces. * Coordinates with architects/contractors before any work begins to create a set of construction drawings detailing the work for the entire project. * Conducts field measurements to create floor plans to aid the client in visualizing their redesigned space. * Coordinates with contractors during construction to ensure the clients designs are installed to their specifications. * Researches and selects finishes, lighting and plumbing fixtures, furniture, and cabinetry. * Ability to work as small as color, finish, and furniture consultations or as large as commercial projects.

It was a pleasure working with Chris on the design and renovation of our kitchen. The previous space was odd and poorly designed and he transformed it into a beautiful, more usable space that is the centerpiece of our home. Christian was very collaborative in the process of designing our finished basement. He had a lot of great ideas, but was open to tweaking a bit based on our thoughts/opinions as we developed the plan. As issues with construction happened, as they always do, he was very responsive to problem solve and keep things moving as best he could. Highly recommend!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my pricing is based on the size of the project. My standard hourly rate is $75, however each project is based on the needs on the client. Depending on the project architectural and engineering fees may be necessary. Prior to sending a contract all fees are discussed in detail.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial consultation is used to access the project scope and needs of the client. The consultation fee is a one time charge of $150. After the consultation I submit a contract for the project services. Once all terms are agreed upon by the provider and client the project begins and will follow the timeline set in the contract.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters in Interior Design from Chatham University 2011
