Joanna is great to work with and took good photos of our family. She is friendly and put the kids at ease. She spent about an hour in our home taking the photos and setup and cleanup were both handled well.

Joanna was kind enough to photograph our engagement pictures, though she specializes in family/toddler/baby pictures. We were looking for pictures that weren't too artsy, but also not posed/staged looking. Joanna was very helpful with scheduling a date that worked for everyone, as well as chatting about ideas for pictures. Joanna made us feel very comfortable during our session, nothing felt awkward, fake, or forced. The turn-around time was AMAZING, one week after our great shoot we were given a link to see our photos. I was blown away. They were all gorgeous and exactly the style/lighting/"feeling" I was hoping for. Her prices are fantastic, well beyond reasonable for the quality provided. We had already booked a wedding photographer before we met Joanna, but I do hope to work with her again.

Joanna was great! She was really responsive and flexible when we were trying to get a time and day scheduled. She primarily was taking pictures of our three kids (age 4, 2-1/2, and 8-1/2 months). Those can be tough ages, but she was terrific with them. She brought props to help out and snapped away and got some great pictures. she also started by asking us what pictures we would like to have, if she could get them. And, before the kids got too tired, she tried to get those. I think what was really great was that, to the extent possible, she really let the kids (and us, to a certain extent) lead in determining pictures to take...keying in on things that seemed to excite them...then letting things happen freely, rather than trying to pose shots to perfection (which I think is just about impossible at these ages). :) Historically, we have not been good about getting pictures of the kids. Part of the problem has been the incredible expense that usually comes along with getting pictures taken. But, Joanna's price is incredibly reasonable and we were certainly pleased with the experience of working with her and with the quality of the final pictures she delivered. We were pleased with the entire experience and hope to work with Joanna again.

What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of job I am usually requested for are baby portraits --usually 6 months olds and 1 year olds. I LOVE doing baby sessions, as I have two children of my own (2 year old and 6 month old) which has helped me connect to other children to get the best pictures possible. I've learned so much through my children.
