FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Litigation and criminal defense are my primary areas of work. With respect to criminal defense cases, I am a former Schuylkill County Assistant District Attorney. I have handled a wide variety of cases, ranging from summaries to violent felonies. My current defense practice includes representing those accused of misdemeanors, felonies and serious traffic citations. In my civil litigation practice, I handle personal injury and wrongful death cases arising out of car and truck accidents, serious dog bites, falls, and other related matters. My litigation experience also includes business and contract, real estate, landlord-tenant, and estate disputes. Related to the litigation is the practice area of debt collection/judgment enforcement. I help clients recover money which is owed to them either as a result of contracts, or to enforce court judgments which they have already obtained--tracking down and liquidating assets to produce money to satisfy the judgment. In addition to litigation, I also handle real estate transactions, prepare wills/powers of attorney/living wills, as well as represent individuals who are administering the estates of deceased individuals.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire someone who knows your community, and the area in which you reside, especially if it is a litigation matter. It's more convenient for you...unless you want to drive 90+ minutes to see your attorney. Additionally, a local lawyer is likely to be more familiar with the local rules of court, court customs, and other related matters in your area.
