I've been in the radio and music business for 20+ years. For your big day, you want a seasoned professional who has spent years on a mic, and knows how to conduct himself in a professional manner that is entertaining, articulate and appropriate. It's not enough to know what songs to play....you have to know what to say, when to say it, when to play the right song and how to ensure that EVERYONE has a good time. I've seen too many lovely weddings and other big events go off the rails by a cheesy, amateur DJ not knowing how to work a room and a situation. My forte is exactly this...providing the right tone, the right music, the right atmosphere for any occasion. I love being one of the best and most memorable parts of someone's big day.

Booking Isley Entertainment is, hands down, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Skip is an outstanding DJ and an incredible value! From our first phone call, we knew he was exactly the kind of DJ we wanted, but never thought we'd find. He's so down to earth and really took the time to get to know what we were looking for. The day of our wedding, he was on time, extremely professional, didn't put on a big show like a lot of DJs do, and made the day all about us. It was perfect. We had a couple of last minute changes and he totally went with the flow. He kept everyone dancing, played our requests, and we all really enjoyed his sense of humor! It felt like he was a part of our family. Everyone was SO happy with the volume of the music too! It was perfect for dancing and we could actually hear each other talk. We had the best time, and are so grateful to Skip for keeping the party going :)

What can i say!.. Skip, you are excellent at what you do and it is apparent you are passionate about Your craft. You made my special day fun. You involed my guests and made them want to dance. Your interpersonal skills are exceptional. You made me feel like the star. I cannot thank you enough. You were part of the family and my guests loved you and your sense of style. I was skeptical our dance floor would see a lot of action at our small-ish (80 people) wedding, but Skip had everyone moving! Toward the end of the night we even had the grandmas in the middle of the floor busting a move - which resulted in some amazing pictures by the way. Skip was very organized and gave us a very professional worksheet for him to get to know our music tastes and pick out the special dance songs. Through the sheet he was able to get an idea of the kind of music we liked and did a great job tailoring his music to our tastes and to our wedding vision. He kept in touch with us throughout the process so we didn't have to worry about anything. My husband and I are both so happy we found Isley Entertainment, it was definitely a piece of the puzzle that made our wedding day perfect. Plus, who doesn't want the smooth voice and experience of a radio host to keep the party going?

Skip and his wife were absolutely amazing! Due to unforeseen circumstance we got Skip last minute with only 4 months left to our wedding. I consider it fate, he happened to have our date available! And from the start of our conversation to the big day everything went so smooth and as planned! We only wish we would of found Skip first! You guys rock!! If you want a great DJ with spectacular pricing, Skip is your guy!!! Thank you again and I hope you and your wife had a great time hanging out with us on our wedding!

yes and no. I try and work with a customers budget whenever possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a detailed phone call or a face to clface meeting well in advance of the event to ensure we are all in the same page, get a feel for the vibe of the people hiring me, their friends and family and how to best meet thier needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
decades of actually doing various events has been my education. 18 years on the air in radio helped as well..
