I needed a kitchen stone wall pointed and cleaned and needed two bedroom walls cleaned..... they did a fairly good job on the kitchen but there was still this orange "dust" left on the stones and I was told, that would be gone after cleaning but it wasn't. The bedroom walls were done by one guy in about 2-2.5 hours and they didn't look any better at all. I did contact Kulp and was told he would come and re-do the bedroom walls. He later canceled because they were very busy. I was told he'd come by the following Thursday and for me to let him know. I emailed him twice saying it was fine, and to let me know when he would be coming BUT....I never heard a peep from him again. I told him that for $2800.00 ,I expected a better job and I feel I was ripped off. When he said he would do the walls in bedroom again and clean them, that made me feel better but he never emailed me back, never came back. I was also angry that they used my fairly new step stool and they made that a mess and after I tried to scrub it clean again, it just didn't wash off. They also took a large blue tarp that I had folded on the kitchen floor , in case they needed to use it. I did tell them it was missing and it was returned.The one guy, who worked on my bedroom walls also smoked on his outside breaks and that was ok BUT I later picked up cig butts from my yard and that ticked me off. How unprofessional is that? All in all.....I would never hire them again and I really feel they ripped me off. They should have returned and re-cleaned the bedroom walls like Kulp said he would do. So, disappointed and mad that I spent so much $ and did NOT get the results I thought I would but I am more angry about being told he would come back and look at the walls and re-clean them ( he never did any of the work, his 2 helpers did the job) Never contacting me back after saying he'd come shows me he isn't a man of his word.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is basically all the same for patios by the sq ft depending on material being used as pavers are cheaper then say flagstone ect ect
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to talk with the customer to find out there ideas as well as design ideas before I can quote a job.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started 15 years ago and always liked making customers dreams a reality and that's what I've done and thanks to thumbtack my business has increased dramatically
