Uma Farm is owned and operated by Nicole Menges along with Alissa Menges and Beverly Menges. It is a premier hunter/jumper/equitation show facility in Berks County, located at Hidden Fox Farm in Mohnton, PA.
Our mission at Uma Farm is to train, prepare and show each of our clients and horses the highest level of their abilities. We achieve this through a personalized program customized to each horse and rider's individual goals. We provide training services for all levels, whether you have a young, unbroke horse that needs to be started, or a seasoned horse that needs some fine-tuning. The key to this program is a level of partnership - both between trainer and client and, more importantly, with your equine partner!
We believe that the first crucial step in building and creating upon this partnership is communication. We welcome your questions and input, from the initial inquiries and continuing throughout the training/lesson process. We are also happy to be available for bringing your young horse along in the show ring. Uma Farm offers services to actively market your horse for sale or assist you in putting those finishing touches, so you can have a successful show experience.
In addition to our outstanding training and lesson programs, we at Uma Farm are most pleased to provide our clientele the finest in training and boarding amenities at our "home" facility. We provide each horse with hands-on daily care - as with our training programs, we personalize this care to each individual's needs. We carefully monitor the horses in our care to ensure that the best feeding, turnout and general day-to-day maintenance that are important for your horses' happiness, success and well-being in his or her training program. Here again, we acknowledge input on any and all aspects of your horses' care while they are staying with us and believe that these discussions only help to create a better environment for all involved.
