FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been designing since high school. It started with an ad for a local business, to some labels for family friends, later websites, etc. The more work I provided, the more referrals kept coming in along with interesting projects. I went to college to study graphic design and kept growing my freelance business, I then worked as a graphic designer at a newspaper, was an art director at a magazine, a international packaging designer and decided to go out on my own and form Design Done Right, LLC.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We typically redesign websites for clients who feel their site is outdated, not high in search engines, lack visibility in social media and are looking for a fresh change to rebrand their company. This usually carries over to changing marketing items from business cards to billboards and getting a client started in mobile websites.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring the right person to create your own company's image is extremely important. You need to feel confident in working with them, their portfolio and actual client references. Make sure their work consistently is in the style you like, that the latest technology is used and that they're always available for questions or help AFTER your project ends. We always are there for our clients through every step of the process, even years down the road when they dive into emerging technology.
