Emailed and spoke on the phone extensively of details and travel. Thought it was going well. Then she said she would have a 3 options for me and email them. Next day didn’t get anything. When I emailed her to follow up she said she was sick and would send me my options. ok I understand if you are sick but at least communicate this with me. I sent another email and still have not had a response. I luckily found another travel agent willing to help. Sad I wasted 4 days with someone and delayed flight plans. This particular client had very unrealistic travel requests, and was not realizing that her requests were extremely unrealistic for traveling with a small child. The person was told of the illness of the travel agent, and the reason for the delay. It is high season, and she wanted last minute outrageous, unrealistic itinerary requests. She has no idea of the actual costs of anything. She was asked for a budget - and would never supply it. Sad to say, but ion the field of travel, we do need to know your budget amount, so that we can tell you flat out that your request is ridiculous. Packntravel

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do not charge any service fees for booking trips or cruises . I do provide referral bonuses! Note - we do charge a service fee for airline ticketing only -so if you want just an airline ticket, there is a service fee of $25 per person & up, based on complexity of itinerary
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?With travel, there are certain questions that we ask at the start of a consultation with you. We do this to make sure that we are providing you with quotes for a very important vacation that is going to match what you are truly looking for. I strive to make each and every client understand that your vacation is as important to me as my own would be. So I want to be sure that I am gathering details that will allow me to suggest the right choices of destination, resort, cruise ship, etc. that fit you and your travel companions. Vacations are very important events in our lives, and deserve to be treated that way. We all work hard for the finances and the time to take a precious vacation. So why not work with a professional that cares about you and your vacation? We prefer to have a phone consultation with you to go over important details, so we are matching you up to the best resort, hotel, cruise ship, etc., so that you have the best vacation experience possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have obtained my CTA - Certified Travel Associate designation from the Travel Institute. I also have many Specialist Designations in certain niche vacation planning, as well as many Destination Specialist certifications. I am also a member of DWHSA - Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association. Certified Romance Travel Specialist Certified Family Travel Specialist SNG Certified Special Needs Travel Advocate I am an advocate of continuing education, and in this industry it is imperative that we stay informed of destinations, changes in laws, etc. So I am always adding to my knowledge base as appropriate.
